Community Care adoption columnist picks up her second prestigious award

Sally Donovan has been named PPA Business Columnist of the Year at a star-studded ceremony at London’s Grosvenor hotel.

Community Care’s adoption writer Sally Donovan has added another prestigious award to her growing collection, picking up Business Columnist of the Year at the 2014 PPA Awards.

The achievement follows Sally’s success last year when she was named Business Columnist of the Year 2013 by the British Society of Magazine Editors.

Sally, mother to two children she and her husband adopted from the UK care system, was praised by the PPA judges for her ‘powerful and engaging’ writing on an important and highly topical subject.

She is not only a highly talented columnist and author, but a credible and committed adoption campaigner, now sitting on an advisory panel at the Department for Education.
