Focus on siblings Groups for National Adoption Week – October 2017

With the National Adoption Week not too far away,  the focus this year is on encouraging more prospective adopters to come forward who can provide a secure and loving home for 2 or more siblings.

Here at Adopters for Adoption we have lots of families who have adopted or are in the process of adopting brothers and sisters. We continually work with Local Authorities right across the country to find the best match for the children they have waiting for their forever family.

Currently 41% of all our adopters who have children placed with them have a sibling group and 83% of our prospective adopters who are matched but do not yet have the children placed with them are siblings groups of 2 or 3 children.

Also 60% of all the children placed with our adopters are brothers and sisters and 92% of the children that we have matched who are currently waiting to move in with their forever families are also siblings.

If you think you may be interested in giving 2 or more siblings a safe, stable and loving home, we are happy to have an informal chat and provide you with all the information you need to become an adopter with Adopters for Adoption.
